Purchased with grant money Utility 59 is a 2010 Polaris 6x6 making it the newest vehicle in Pine Run's fleet. U-59 sits on a trailer and is used for difficult farmland extrications, transporting man power to and from the emergency scene, and has been used in search and rescue details. In 2011 the Pine Run VFD allpied for a grant to get a skid unit for the back to make U-59 able to fight brush fires, and give our medically trained personel the ability to provide patient care to those that may come into trouble where a truck or ambulance may not be able to respond.
